We spent our days slow-living in a kampung retreat, dipping in waterfalls and lounging by rice fields. Pondering over our storied histories in these places where our paths finally meet. There is a profound quality to cross-cultural lovers. The depth that resides beneath skin on contrasting skin. Water on rock. Pale dandelion on bronze porcelain. Shining moon in the dark sky. In their company, I see more with my heart than with my eyes.
