Hello friend, my name is Hazicky.
I photograph Ordinary People in Extraordinary Places. I meet people in different parts of the world, spend time with them, learn about them, and the photographs become the residues of our encounter.
Honest photographs grow
in meaning over time.
This is not the “photoshoot” like most people think. My photography is in what’s left behind when we finally meet. The exchange of stories and conversations. Our shared experience. Images of your current season of life. In time, you won’t recall memories as well as the photographs you have of them, and these become your identity anchors. They remind you of who you are and how you’ve lived.
Fate decides
who I turn up for.
I don’t accept every enquiry. It’s important that we get on call to see if we’re the right fit for each other. For me, this isn’t work. It’s evidence of how I exist in this world and who I’m meant to meet. If you’re reading this, something already brought you here. I trust that more than my portfolio or a mood-board.
Don’t ask.
Just follow.
Your trust becomes my instinct. I might have a rough plan to shape the day but the real work happens in what I’m allowed to notice. I invite you to get lost with me. My best photographs are never planned. They usually happen in wrong turns, closed streets and weather that won’t cooperate. Fate is thickest where nothing is arranged.
It’s not just for couples.
It’s for people you love.
Most people invest in a photographer during wedding milestones, but what’s it worth to have your photographs taken with your families, parents, siblings, friends? While you still have them. While you still can. An ordinary season of life is often overlooked so if something is pulling you toward this, that’s reason enough.
